J. Smoker's Pub History

At the beginning of the 20th century in Essex in small provincial town in poor family having unusual surname Smoker a boy was born and his parents called him John. The boy became a very curious, purposeful and business-like Briton. He like traveling very much and went almost about the whole Europe, Asia and America. The journeys developed a very useful trait in John’s character. It is a fine understanding of local traditions especially culinary ones. Leaning upon British brewing culture he also borrowed many secrets in Germany and Eastern Europe, conceived a liking for cigars come to know smoking culture in North America.
After long traveling John came back to England. It was difficult for him to get rid of his
predilections and habits got at the time of his journeys. It suggested him using his acquired knowledge to create small establishment namely a little pub to reflect a suitable surroundings to let any visitor degust different sorts of fresh domestic beer, embolden himself with aroma of coffee drinks, made from natural coffee grains, build plans smoking a long cigar, fall into recollections pulling at a pipe of hookah filled with fruit tobacco and, at last, give himself a treat with unusual and diverse dishes. Soon John Benjamin Smoker’s pubs became very popular among British democratic population stratum. Several pubs had existed for a long time. Unfortunately, they did not live to see the present time. But we are glad to admit the fact that there are enthusiast people in Uzbekistan which decided to recreate the idea of John Smoker’s pubs on the base of unique sources and their first hands. Of course, the pub cannot be a complete copy of those establishments from the beginning of the 20th century. Nevertheless we hope we manage to represent even though partially the idea that talented old John pursued in his conceptual establishments.
